If you enter a ZIP code, your browser downloads a static cost-index file from our servers (zip_costs.json) to perform the local lookup. This file is anonymous public data derived from government building permit records. We do not log or store the ZIP codes you enter.

We do collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics (GA4), including: pages visited, approximate geographic location (country/region level), device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.
